Aslam Aziz
Managing Director, Head of Operational Transformation
Aslam’s international banking experience includes senior positions in operations, technology, treasury, training, human resources and product development with Citibank in Pakistan, Qatar, Morocco, Turkey and UK. He later headed Citibank’s Trade Finance business for Europe and then their Treasury Services business for Europe. Subsequently he served as CEO of Orbian, a joint venture between Citibank and SAP. As Head of Operational Transformation for BankT&D, Aslam has worked with numerous clients helping them to transform the productivity, quality and costs of their front, middle and back office operations.
Sarabjit Singh Chhatwal
Executive Director, Head of Risk Management and Training
Sarabjit heads our Risk Management and Training practices. He has wide-ranging international experience as a corporate banker, consultant and trainer in the Middle East, Asia, USA and Europe. He held senior level positions within Citibank covering risk, marketing, trade finance, business management, training and product management. He has worked for Citibank’s affiliate in Saudi Arabia (SAMBA), and had regional responsibilities for Citibank based out of Singapore, London and USA. Sarabjit delivers consulting and training to banks within Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
Eddy Ogbogu
Director, Sub-Sahara Africa
Eddy Ogbogu has extensive local and international experience at senior management level, spanning over 30 years in Banking and financial services. During his career, he led several transformational initiatives, most recent being in process automation and digitization of banking services. He is strong in execution and an adept problem-solver.
Eddy’s most recent professional role was the Group Executive, responsible for Operations and Technology at Ecobank Transnational Inc., a Pan-African Banking institution with presence in 33 African countries, France, UK, China and UAE.
Prior to this, Eddy had a 19 years career at Citibank in different leadership roles across multiple countries in Africa. He had a short stint at Keystone Bank Plc. He has held several Board and strategic leadership positions in Ecobank Transnational Inc., eProcess International SA, Oceanic International Bank Ltd., Keystone Bank Plc (formerly Bank PHB Nigeria Plc), Citibank Nigeria Ltd.
Eddy holds a B. Sc. Accountancy degree from University of Nigeria; a Professional qualification of FCA of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria, the Advanced Management Program (AMP 187) of Harvard Business School. Member of the Nigeria Institute of bankers and Nigeria Institute of Management.
